Bol will adjust the payment model for sales partners as of January 1, 2024. From that moment on, partners can choose whether they are paid once or twice a month. In this way, bol meets the need of partners to be paid more often, so that they can invest more quickly in their business. This enables partners to grow faster through the platform.
Successful pilot period among partners
It became clear from various studies and conversations that partners wanted to be paid faster. Bol has started working on this and has held a pilot among a select group of partners in recent months. This showed that the preference was for payment once or twice a month. Steven Versluis, Director B2B Marketing at bol: 'We want to be a good platform on which we continuously offer our sales partners opportunities to accelerate the growth of their business. In this way, we share valuable data about sales results and business opportunities and we help sales partners to grow faster with, among other things, advertising options, logistics services and collaborations with third parties. We are now adding a new payment model to this.'
Partners determine the payment frequency themselves.
The new payment model will become the standard for every new partner from January 1, 2024. Current partners can indicate their preference in their own sales account until December 31, 2023. Some partners prefer a monthly payment, others prefer more often. Because the wishes of partners differ, partners can set their desired payment frequency via their sales account. This way, partners decide for themselves which model best suits their business operations. The frequency can be adjusted every quarter, the change is active from the first day of the next quarter. There are no additional costs associated with faster payout.
